For this collaboration, I tried to keep an open mind and just feel free. Starting with the image I created for Connie Borgen, with whom I was paired with, I created marks and pattern with no specific image in mind. My hope was that she would read my marks and be able to transform them into something that was of her own. When I received Connie's artwork, I let her delicate marks and soft colors speak to my mind's eye. I feel we both worked to bridge the gap between our worlds while creating a dialog through visual language.

It is a big challenge to cooperate with another artist on the same artwork. First of all you need to know when to stop, to make space for the other artists work. Writing this I still not have seen the outcome. I am very excited.
